MB Steel was founded in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1960, so that a customer could have a part made start to finish without sending it from shop to shop.
Today every process runs in the one plant at 5400 N Broadway: hydraulic and mechanical stamping, including deep draw up to 4,000 tons, laser and HD plasma cutting, CNC press brake forming, CNC mill and lathe machining, welding and fabrication, and surface finishing.
MB Steel builds the tooling, makes the parts, finishes them and ships them, for a single prototype or a production program of millions of parts.
