What the forms collect
Quote form: your name, company, email address, phone number, the processes and material you choose, quantity, thickness, target date, your notes, whether you need an NDA, and any drawings or other files you upload.
Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, subject and message.
Careers form: your name, email address, phone number, the position you are interested in, your message and your resume.
Fields marked optional can be left empty.
What the site records about visits
The company that hosts this website records standard technical information about each visit, such as the IP address, browser type and the pages requested. When you send a form, the website also keeps your IP address and browser type with it. This is used to run the site and to stop spam and misuse. This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How it is used
MB Steel uses what you send to prepare quotes, answer your questions, arrange an NDA when you ask for one, and consider job applications. It is not sold, and it is not used for marketing lists.
Who can see it
Quote requests, messages and applications are sent to MB Steel by email, and a copy is kept on MB Steel's web server, outside public view. Uploaded files are kept there too. Small files are attached to the email; large files are sent to MB Steel as private download links that stop working after 30 days. They are seen by the MB Steel staff who handle quotes, orders and hiring, and by HausHive, which runs the website for MB Steel. The companies that host the website and MB Steel's email store this information on MB Steel's behalf.
How long it is kept
MB Steel keeps quote requests, drawings and applications for as long as they are useful for quoting, orders and its business records. You can ask MB Steel to delete what you sent at any time.
